Our Cottage
We are privileged to be the proud owners of Innkeepers Cottage a very quaint and cosy 17th century listed cottage set in a village location in the beautiful unspoilt Durham Dales, north east England's undiscovered gem.
Lovingly refurbished and restored just for you to chill out, relax and unwind in, many of our guests have done just that and like it so much they keep coming back.. So, if you like a warm welcome, an open fire, a comfy bed, period features, and lots of character and charm, then Innkeepers Cottage could be just what you are looking for, whether it be for a short break from the humdrum of a hectic lifestyle or a more leisurely stay of a week or more to completely recharge your batteries, either way, we're confident you won't be disappointed, but don't just take our word for it, take a look for yourself and read what our guests have had to say... ...here's a little taster: "Beautiful cottage set in the most awe inspiring surroundings, we are so glad we chose this cottage as the restoration work and passion put into the place is un-beliveable. Spent many happy hours getting lost up in the hills but the best part was coming back to your cosy cottage in the evenings relaxing with a drink by the fire. You have truly made this trip unforgettable, we will hopefully be back later in the year" Robert and Clare, Cambridgeshire "On arriving at Innkeepers Cottage we knew we had picked the right cottage - the attention to detail was perfect and a lot of thought has gone into the restoration. It was the perfect location for touring Weardale and the Black Bull is not to be missed. A pity we were only here for one week, we will definately be back" Carl and Sylvia, Cheshire "Having spent weeks on the internet looking for an idyllic cottage for our holiday, we certainly found it with Innkeepers Cottage. Everything is so well equipped with a lot of care and thought having gone into making it a perfect place to stay. The area is very picturesque and we will be going home with lovely memories. We will be definately recommending you to family and friends" Adrian and Nichol Parker - Suffolk "We have had a fantasic festive period in your lovely, cosy cottage, thank you for making it so welcoming for us, have been visiting family and Weardale looked absolutely stunning in its blanket of snow, hope we can stay here again on our next visit"
"The cottage was wonderful, full of memories of bygone days and well worth the money, its a pity we have to go home. Thanks Michele and Graeme for the great welcome you gave us and a lovely holiday" Isobel and Billy, Dumfries |
